The Shad Derby Festival is put together every year by the Shad Fest Bureau. The Bureau consists of the Windsor Jaycees, Lions, Junior Women's Club, Civitan, Chamber of Commerce, Rod and Gun Club, Kiwanis, Masons, and Exchange Club of Windsor. Each group sponsors one event each season.
