| The Shad Derby is a
long-standing Windsor tradition. There are many
activities sponsored by civic organizations in
Windsor. Shad Derby culminates with the highly
anticipated parade and festival on the green,
sponsored by Windsor Jaycees. The tradition
began with an annual fishing tournament
sponsored by the Windsor Rod and Gun Club. In
the years that followed, more activities were
added. The Windsor Lions Club runs the Spring
Arts and Crafts Festival. |
